The Non-Stop Bhangra Collective (NSB) is a San Francisco-based group consisting of DJs and live drums alongside vibrant dance performances. The group presents Punjabi music in a fresh way, mixing traditional and modern tracks with live tabla and dhol drums, scratching, and the energetic Bhangra dancers of Dholrhythms Dance Troupe. NSB was born in 2004 when DJ Jimmy Love and the Dholrhythms joined up to provide a dance night for students of Dholrhythms Bhangra classes. The demand was evident and soon venues filled up, culminating in a monthly event which has become a popular staple of Bay Area nightlife. Dholrhythms dance troupe has performed at 1015 Folsom, De Young Museum, Pier 39, and the Fillmore, and NSB has shared the stage with Michael Franti & Spearhead, State Of Bengal, Karsh Kale, Cheb i Sabbah, J-Boogie Dubtronic Science, Sila and The Afro Funk Experience, and the Dhamaal Collective.
