Joan Baez
Blame Sally

Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
Sigmund Stern Grove, 19th Ave. & Sloat, San Francisco

For over fifty years, folk legend Joan Baez has been drawing social consciousness to the ills and joys of the human condition through her poignant lyrics and dominating vocals. Baez’s relevant works and extensive repertoire touched the hearts and minds of an overflowing Stern Grove audience.

The collaboration of four San Francisco area women, Blame Sally represents some of the best of the modern folk pop scene. The band's potent poetry set to an eclectic mix of instrumentation during their July 12th performance left Grove goers wanting more.

Today’s performance is made possible with support from the Rhoda H. Goldman Memorial Fund and is dedicated to the memory of Rhoda H. Goldman, Festival Chair from 1968 to 1996.
