Getting To The Grove

How to get here

Stern Grove Festival takes place at Sigmund Stern Grove, located at the corner of 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco.

  • We have two GA entrances:

    • 19th Ave & Sloat Blvd

    • 23rd Ave & Wawona St

    Queue opens at 10:00 AM

    Gates open at 12:00 PM

    Enjoy a lively pre-show space with coffee, breakfast, and a bar

    Please note:

    • Vale Ave is closed to GA entry

    • Overnight camping is not permitted

  • Queues open at 10am.

    Gates open at 12pm.

    Overnight camping is prohibited.

    *Note: Fans tend to arrive early to grab great seats—plan ahead and expect lines at opening.

  • Doors: 12pm

    DJ: 1pm

    Show : 2pm

  • There is no public parking lot. Street parking is extremely limited.

    *If parking in the neighborhoods near the Grove, please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways.

    We recommend taking public transportation (yay SFMTA!), ride share, or bike. We have a free bike valet @ 21st and Wawona.

    Reserved Picnic Tables: your package includes parking passes with specific instructions on where to park—check your confirmation for details.

  • We have a bike valet! Fancy!

    Our bike valet is located at 21st and Wowona. It is open from 11:00am until 1 hour after the concert ends.

  • ADA Parking is available first-come-first-serve along the North side of Sloat Blvd between 19th Ave and 22nd Ave.

    ADA Parking is limited.

  • We Love SFMTA! Please take public transportation to the Grove.

    MUNI:

    Muni Metro:

    Take lines M Ocean View or the K Ingleside and exit at the St. Francis Circle stop. Walk West one block to the park entrance at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard.

    Muni Bus:

    Lines 23-Monterey and 28-19th Avenue stop right at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard.

    BART

    BART to Civic Center and transfer to Muni Metro M Ocean View or the K Ingleside

    BART to Glen Park Station and transfer to MUNI bus 23-Monterey

    BART to Daly City and transfer to MUNI bus 28-19th Avenue

  • Now with increased service!

    Shuttle service is available for seniors and guests requiring ADA accommodations, plus one (1) companion.

    Pickup Locations (Inbound):
    Shuttles to the seating area now run from three locations:

    • 19th Ave & Sloat Blvd

    • Vale Ave & Crestlake Dr

    • 20th Ave & Wawona St

    All inbound shuttles drop off at the Vale Avenue Entrance.

    All outbound shuttles depart from the Vale Avenue Entrance.

    Hours of Operation:
    11:00 AM – 5:30 PM

    What’s new—and why:

    • Faster service to reduce wait times

    • Quicker access away from 19th & Sloat

    • Improved pre-show experience while waiting for the Concert Meadow to open

    • Additional restroom access near pickup areas

    • Better emergency access for medical and fire services in seating areas

  • Attendees are required to walk-through Evolv Weapons Detection systems during entry.

    After completing the search, each attendee will then have their free ticket scanned by our Ticket Team.

    • Every attendee needs to have a free ticket to enter the venue.

    • Tickets from a third-party will not be accepted.

    • Important Note: Admission is subject to venue capacity and safety guidelines, and entry may be paused or closed once the event reaches capacity.
