Join SF Ballet Dance in Schools and Communities (DISC) Teaching Artist for creative movement and cultural dance classes from Ballet to Bollywood, West African to Hip Hop, Latin Dance and more! These weekly interactive dance classes appropriate for all ages, feature live musical accompaniment, and are sure to get kids moving and grooving.

This video lesson is led by Ms. Kyra and explores the relevance of the cherry blossom to Japanese culture, as well as Japanese fan dancing (Nihonbuyo). Kids will learn different gestures to symbolize the joy of cherry blossom watching and explore storytelling through more minute movements and props.
